Copper Bromide

Copper Bromide is an ideal chemical compound that is useful as intensifier, for photographic processing as well as in organic synthesis as brominating agent. Its uses not only include aforesaid but also copper vapour laser and dermatological applications. This chemical compound is a combination of hydrobromic acid and copper oxide. It is purified applying the process of crystallization and filtration. The formulation is then dehydrated with phosphorus pentoxide. This chemical reacts with ketones and forms alpha-bromo ketones. Studies have shown that Copper Bromide is highly beneficial for skin rejuvenation. This chemical compound is also proposed to be an ideal material for humidity indicator cards.
